Without getting any wealth, he loaded the ship and captured the local natives as slaves and sent them to Spain. At that time, the slave trade was not widespread in Europe. Many could not wholeheartedly support this work of Columbus. Moreover, a large part of the tribals died within a short time after moving to the new environment. Isabella could not wholeheartedly support this behavior of Columbus.
On May 30, 1498, Columbus set sail for the third time. This time his companions are his son and brother. The happy days of Columbus's life were gradually fading. Columbus breathed his last in a simple cottage in the city of Vasadolid in 1506. His body was taken from there and buried in Demingo.
